Training
The Archive-Skills Consultancy Ltd was originally formed to deliver a programme of effective and relevant training in archives and records management at a price that anyone or any organisation can afford. This builds on a working relationship begun in the early 1990’s running the Basic Archive Skills Training Days under the auspices of the Society of Archivists’ Specialist Repositories Group.
Between 1999 and the end of 2020 we have trained around two thousand people in our off-the-shelf training alone. We have also delivered customised training to meet specific individual and organisational goals and requirements. This brings the total number of individuals participating in our training days to almost 3000.
We are currently delivering all our training courses online via the Zoom platform. We have specially adapted the content to ensure that the learning experience remains participative whilst retaining the informative presentations and our trademark handbooks. We also offer tailored online training to small numbers of participants from the same organisation. Please contact Margaret Crockett if you are interested in discussing this option.
You might also like to read some participant comments about our training.

Evaluation
Whilst we are delivering our training courses online we use the SurveyMonkey platform for learners’ feedback. We use a simple evaluation form to allow participants to feed back their opinion and comment on all aspects of the training courses. It takes just a few minutes to complete. Although most evaluations are anonymous, we retain data for a short while in case of any query.

We are committed to meeting our responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act, and we will endeavour to meet individual accessibility needs where practicable and within our means. This includes online accessibility for training delivered via Zoom. Please discuss with us when booking.
