Training

The Archive-Skills Consultancy Ltd was originally formed to deliver a programme of effective and relevant training in archives and records management at a price that anyone or any organisation can afford. This builds on a working relationship begun in the early 1990’s running the Basic Archive Skills Training Days under the auspices of the Society of Archivists’ Specialist Repositories Group. Since 1999 we have trained around three thousand four hundred people

We are currently delivering our general programme of training online via the Zoom platform. We have specially adapted the content to ensure that the learning experience remains participative whilst retaining the informative presentations and our trademark handbooks.

We also offer customised training for small numbers of participants from the same organisation. The training is tailored to to meet specific individual and organisational goals and requirements. Please contact Margaret Crockett if you are interested in discussing this option.

You might also like to read some participant comments about our training.

See here for details of Practical Training Workshops offered by our Associate, Gillian Sheldrick, on using Excel for Archivists.
