The UK National Archives
The UK National Archives was formed in 2004 by an amalgamation of the Public Record Office (PRO) and the Historical Manuscripts Commission (HMC). It is the Website for the national archives of England, Wales and the United Kingdom. The site has a large suite of useful pages for professionals including guidance and standards on records management, digital preservation and archives management.

The National Council on Archives (NCA)
This Website has information on the NCA’s activities, including the Archive Lottery Service, the Regional Archive Councils, publications and back copies of newsheets and press briefings.

The Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA)
The Council for Museums, Archives and Libraries (MLA), formerly known as Re:source, is the strategic organisation working for the three sectors it represents.

Moving History
The network for the UK’s twelve public-sector moving image (ie, film and television) archives.

The National Archives of Scotland
Website of the National Archives of Scotland. The site is primarily intended for researchers interested in Scottish matters.

National Library of Scotland Manuscripts Division homepage
The Division is the repository of the National Library of Scotland’s major collections of manuscripts and archives, which cover many aspects of the lives, activities and interests of Scots at home and abroad.

Scottish Council on Archives
A forum for institutions and organisations concerned with the administration of archives in Scotland.

The National Library of Wales
The Archives Collection of the National Library of Wales includes public records, industrial archives, ecclesiastical archives, political archives, manorial records, the archives of individuals and institutions, and the archives of landed families and estates.

Higher Education Archivists Group (HEAG)
The HEAG “aims to promote the work of full time and part time archivists in the United Kingdom’s Higher Education institutions.”

National Archives of Australia
National Archives of Australia with archives advice about practical archival management matters, a large section on recordkeeping with methodology and other useful tools for records management in government agencies and publications.

National Archives and Record Administration (US)
This is the website of the National Archives and Record Administration (US national archives).
