British Council-funded TASC-delivered training in Estonia
The Archive-Skills Consultancy, as part of a partnership with the National Archives of Estonia, was funded to deliver training to staff of the Archives between 2000 and 2003. The British Council Baltic States awarded the National Archives of Estonia funding for their modern Archives and Records Training Programme.
The objectives of the project were:
- Introduce professional modern records management skills and techniques to the staff of the National Archives of Estonia, with an emphasis on managing electronic records;
- Develop training capacities within the National Archives of Estonia; and
- Develop a records management training course for the records management staff of public agencies.
The project involved training courses / workshops and a study visit to the UK by staff of the National Archives of Estonia. It built on the TASC course “Training the Trainer” which was delivered at the National Archives of Estonia in October 2000.
